This specialty, named CATALINA MANTEQUILLA, was brought to the market out of passion and enthusiasm for achieving excellence. We are talking about an anchovy preserved in Pasiega butter, a return to traditional methods in the treatment and preservation of anchovies.

The anchovy comes from the spring coastal fishing season in the Cantabrian Sea. After processing and maturing it for over a year, once cleaned, we preserve it in Pasiega butter from Cantabrian cows, giving this anchovy unique flavour nuances without losing the essential subtlety of the sea's taste.
